For the Love of it

Khidmat Home Care, named after the Arabic word for “service,” was founded by Fatima Essa-Morojele , a dedicated nurse practitioner whose journey of care began in her youth and deepened profoundly as she became the primary caregiver for her beloved father. Inspired by the challenges and blessings of supporting her father through every stage of his health, Fatima recognised the immense need for compassionate, professional home-based medical care.

In Islamic tradition, “khidmat” means serving others sincerely, seeking only the pleasure of the Almighty. This spirit of selfless service is at the heart of everything we do. Fatima’s personal and professional experiences have shaped Khidmat into more than just a healthcare provider—it is a heartfelt mission to bring dignity, comfort, and expert care directly to those who need it most.
