Our Journey
Founded in 2024 by nurse practitioner Sr. Fatima Essa-Morojele, Khidmat Home Care is named after the Arabic word for “service”. Khidmat is an umbrella term encompassing labour, service, devotion, and care, which is central to how we function as a business.
Fatima Essa-Morojele founded Khidmat Home Care with a deep passion for serving others through compassionate healthcare. A dedicated nurse practitioner, her journey in caregiving began in early adulthood and became especially meaningful when she became the primary caregiver for her beloved father. Through the challenges and rewards of caring for him at every stage of his health journey, Sr. Fatima recognised the growing need for professional, compassionate home-based medical care.
Guided by both personal experience and professional expertise, Sr. Fatima built Khidmat to be more than a healthcare provider—it is a mission rooted in dignity, comfort, compassion, and exceptional care for those who need it most.
